I don't think I could go without but I totally understand where you are coming fromI totally agree it would make it easier. However, I won’t be getting another pet... that I am planning.
No vet bills, no food bills, PetMed bills (flea and tick and heart worm), no dog sitter... no heartbreak when they pass.
Of course you know I say all that to make myself feel okay. I keep hesitating before putting my feet underneath the coffee table because he liked to lay there. I won’t have him to make me laugh, to make me feel less alone when Duckling is asleep or not here. No one to clean up the food I dropped. I’m actually going to have to pick it up myself!!
I love animals. I just don’t think I will get another pet unless Duckling asks.
