Toe Coming Off!!!! Please Help

My goose is a houdini! He gets out of anything. he tore off his toenail the other day, and blood was just everywhere... i cleaned it and wrapped it, then put a sock over the wrap, then taped the sock to his leg, and put him in his dark goosehouse... in the morning, the entire bandage was on the floor, and I had to wrestle him to get he last bit of tape off his leg... It was so silly!

Been there done that got the tshirt.. LOL​

I had to snip off one of my roos toe.. its wasnt pretty but we both survived.

thank you for all the support...we cut it off...just attached by a little bit of ligament....no bleeding...cleaned it.....put the pullet in with him for company..he doesn't stand on it for very long, so she really doesn't have a chance to pick at it...eating and drinking fine...going to clean it again and put liquid band aid on it..DH wanted to superglue it but i think the liquid band aid is better it has antiseptic in it. i still have no clue how he did this to his toe. all the blood is in the middle of the coop, next to the roost. he was fine when they went to bed. no one else has any injuries. i was having trouble telling my roos apart, but not anymore!!!! thanks again for all the help and info.
