Toenail clipping

Has anyone ever used one of those Pedi Paws for dogs on their chickens nails? Got one a while back and have still not used it. Seems it would make their claws smoother than clipping.

I use nail clippers and use the PediPaw to smooth..my husband thinks it is hilarious when he sees me using it on my Silkies!! It's funny, because they aren't really scared of it!!
