I just bought 4 hens. I went there only to get two, but when I saw the conditions they were in I had to take four. I don't know really how old or what kinds there are. Birds where flying everywhere and all of them were missing alot of feathers. One of them, that I bought, I think is a pretty old bird. I don't mind. Just hope I can let her live out the rest of her life in some peace grazing around the yard. Not in a pen with 100 other birds. Just wondering, he toenails are REALLY long. Almost to where it is hindering her walking. Do I need to clip them? Will they file down naturally as she gets to free graze around the yard some? Thanks for looking!
