TOES PROBLEMS - CHICK CANT WALK

HELLO FOLKS,
MY CHICK GOT A PROBLEM ON HER RIGHT FOOT, MEANING THE LAST AND BEFORE LAST TOES APPEARED BLACKENED AT THE JOINT AREA AND SHE CANNOT WALK VERY WELL, SHE IS LIMPING AND ACTUALLY STAY SIT MOST OF THE DAY AND WONT GO OUTSIDE WITH THE OTHERS.
CAN ANYONE HELP FIGURE OUT WHAT 'S GOING ON?
IT APPEARED LAST MONTH AND THEY ARE OF COURSE ALL WELL FED AND TAKEN CARE OF.

I agree with Eggcessive, that does sound like it could be frostbite, from the blackened area description. That link I gave does give some information on medications used to treat wuonds, and treating pain, but also on preventing frostbite. Blackened areas are quite possible frostbite. The blackened color usually indicates necrosis, which just eans death of the tissue.
