What might one expect to pay for straight run Tolbunt Polish chicks? I rarely see them advertised although have occasionally seen hatching eggs on eBay, but they are so expensive and I have had good and bad luck with shipped eggs.

Tolbunts are Gorgeous birds - however, I am new to polish and have only heard they(tolbunts) are expensive. Sorry I couldn't help more; I just wanted to comment how beautiful this coloring is. Good Luck!!!

My general rule of thumb is a hatched chick costs at least double the price of a fertile egg. Not what you wanted to hear, but a bird in the hand is WAY worth more than an egg in the mail...

WOW! The eggs on eBay sold for $13 apiece - so that means $26 per chick!

Gretchen sold 6 "TESTER" eggs on here for 176$ TESTER EGGS!!!! 26$ per live chick is cheap! LOL..go Gretchen go!

Supply and demand. Right now there is a lot of demand, and almost zero supply of tolbunt polish. Sorry, just the way of the world. A few years from now it will be tolbunt cochins or something.

Yes, that was a crazy auction! I'm not a fan of polish, but those were gorgeous.

I know! I had one of her buff batam frizzled polish and since only 1 hatched out I sold it-the other day at 4 weeks old? for 8$ I wanted more but the lady was taking all the ones leftover I had-so I got 8$ for each chick she took-not bad
