Should be, I think. Mine are about 17 weeks, hard to remember, but seems like there was enough difference in the combs and wattles by then.

I feel your pain and we have Buffs that we love! They are a good breed. I would try BYC and craigslist, I would steer clear of most auctions, I have heard too many horror stories about getting birds that are sick thus the reason the people are selling them at auction. That is not always the case but I am too leary! If you can get older ones then you will have eggs sooner and be able to sex them easier but if you get the 8 week olds you run the risk of having another roo. Then again you could rehome the extra roos. There's a risk with everything. Maybe run an ad for yourself here and on craigslist. You never know
