Tom or hen?

I have posted more than a few threads about these turkey poults... Well last time I was asking gender and breed. I was told that they were Broad Breasted Bronze and that this one was a tom-

And this one was a hen-

I have seen the tom try to mount the others, he displays constantly, and he has the longest snood. He has black tips to his breast feathers. The hen never displays, has a tiny snood, has white tips to the breast feathers and all of the back feathers. There is a third turkey that a few people said was a tom and some said was a hen, this is the one I am creating this thread for. ---

This one's snood is longer than the hen's but shorter than the tom's, I have seen it display once, the outer breast feathers have a white tip, the majority are black, all of the turkeys have some feathers on the back of their necks, all of them are almost 16 weeks old, and all of them are funny birds.

I have 8 that are 8 weeks old. I have one that looks like this but I’m thinking it’s a hen. I’m thinking yours (the third) is a hen too. Not positive because I haven’t had turkeys in 20 years until 8 weeks ago but I’d bet hen. But it’s a little to soon to know for certain. Although most of mine at 8 weeks have made their gender very clear! I’ll post a video of my Toms at 7 weeks. Here’s a photo from last night. On the left is a ton and right is a hen.

At least you’re not like me where you have 8 (4/4 split I think) and they’re all pets. I got extra and improved Ted. They have a high mortality rate. Never thought they would all make it. Or better yet- like @TurkeyTimes with TWO HUNDRED- all of whom he loves! Right? (That’s so cool. I wish I had more).

I’d have to say I really think hen after @TurkeyTimes he knows his birds. In the future I’ll be getting some pencilled birds from him. Idaho or further. It’s happeninv! Look at his avatar. And you said that’s not even your best looking bird right TT?

Hahaha, Yeah I have a couple turkeys. Sold some so I'm not quite at 200 anymore. The tricolors are pretty spectacular. Wait until I develop some pencilled blue fallfires, now those are gorgeous. I will have them next year. Here is a picture of Maple, the better looking brother to the one in my avatar pic.

If I didn’t have my whole voice to text cuss words the other day- which I think has me on thin ice because someone keeps declining my request to join BYC on FB which is kind of crappy- but nonetheless, hadn’t I dropped some risqué language i would have said here- that is one beautiful $&@);!? Bird! Holy $&@?!!! I cannot wait. So you’re developing this variation? As in you’re breeding them to get the first? So when I buy some I’ll be part of an elite ownshop?? Cool. I dig that plan! How cool. How did you ever come up with that idea. And btw what variation typically lives the longest? The smallest I assume? Would that be midget white?

Well those boys are tricolor pencil palms that have been around for sometime. There are a lot of good breeders developing new varieties far before I will be able to. My initial goal is to replicate Franz lehner of Austria's pencilled blue fallfire line. So far as I know no one in the USA has them yet. I'll find a pic to post. Most gorgeous bird I've ever seen. I dont think any heritage lives longer than others. Would depend on how well taken care of they are over anything I would think. I've heard of birds living to be 12-13 years old. Not broadbreast tho. They are prone to too many health issues.
