I don't yet have a picture of the turkey to post.

The turkey is a Narragansett turkey; s/he hasn't started laying eggs and we got him/her at around mid- May. If you have any useful information, it would be very welcome.

Also, I'm not exactly sure when turkeys are supposed to lay eggs.

Without seeing good in focus pictures (one looking down on the head from the back and a full side view) we cannot make an educated guess.

It depends on your location and the age of the turkey whether or not you should be expecting eggs at this time.

If you are in the northern hemisphere and you got the turkey as a poult in May and if it is a hen, you should not expect it to start laying eggs until next spring.

Spring or so,dont eat them, they don't lay as much as chickens
