Tomato Worms

Is it safe to feed the worms we take off our tomato plants? I know they're good fishing bait but don't know if my girls can have them.

I give them the worm WITh the tomato. I hate picking them nasty things off my plants.

I gave them to them and they looked at them as if they where aliens.

Two of them where brave enough to peck but then backed off. What a bunch of chickens.

I found a HUGE one and my chooks loved it. 1 worm and 18 chickens makes for an unhappy flock, lol!

My chickens love the little ones but they run and hide when they get a really big one.

I don't know if they ever ate them. I had chores to do. I'll probably find them again back on the tomato plants. I'll cut them in half next time. Just the thought makes me gag. But if its good for my girls then thats good.
