Well, my tomatoes turned into a crazy jungle and after the snow we had the other day, the plants wilted. Tonight, after fixing the coop light and pulling grass for the rabbits, I picked a lot of green tomatoes!
He is a pic of them all. I wanted to know, will they ripen in the fridge? I can keep them out on the counter, it's kinda cold in there anyway, but an occasional cat or fly may ruin them over time.
Too bad I don't like tomatoes...

Big ones are reg tomatoes, rest are all cherry tomatoes.

Moved them out of the fridge. Already picked out all the red and near red ones to feed to the chickens. It's the only treat they all love, other than scrambled eggs & scratch, w/o having to get used to them, lol.

Have you tried fried green tomatoes? My husband and daughter love them.
