Tomatoes? Can the chicks have those...

The chicks are kinda old now.. about 2mths respectively, so dunno if they even apply as chicks now lol but i do have chick grit in the run and available to sprinkle on the tomatoes. I have an overabundance of the suckers this year, figure i'd spread the wealth.

Is there a chart or resource page to look up what foods are okay when?

-not sure about what ages to begin treats. -didn't start feeding treats until mine were about 13/15 weeks old. They love tomatoes!

leaves and stems are somewhat toxic, but I doubt the chickens will eat them anyway.

I don't see why not, I gave mine some at that age last year.

Oh yes, i know they have no access to the plants, as they are penned just i planted so many and then a bunch grew back i probably have more than 20 plants! i could open a stand.. i tried the ducks they said blah, so i figure chickens are next on the list lol
