so I have chicks that are due tomorrow, they have been candeled and some look right, some dont. I dont hear any peeps or anything (what should happen?)

Most of the time I see minor indents on the shell to start. At due date you can hear the, cheeping inside because they have internally pipped the membrane into the airsac.

We have some due today(16) and I don't hear anything either. Our last batch we had 13 and only 4 hatched. But, they peeped like crazy! We candled them before lockdown and all looked ok. So

I know it is hard, but try to sit back and wait for it to happen.

The 1st signs will be peeping, eggs rocking, and pips. Followed by zippering and then chicks.

Try not to open the incubator...at all if possible. My best hatches have been when I just left the darn incubator alone for 24 hours while the hatch was happening. The more you open the bator, the lower your hatch rate seems to be.

Good Luck!

My egg is due tomorrow too! I haven't heard it peep nor see it move yet, But it won't actually be day 20 for the egg until 4:00 so maybe that's why...

My broody's two eggs are also due tomorrow! I checked on them yesterday and one peeped and wiggled in the egg! The other has a good air sac and had some subtle movement
