Tonsillitis

I feel like this is a stupid question, but I know ducks have tonsils and I have tonsillitis is there anyway I can give this to my duck?

I am pretty sure tonsillitis itself is not contagious but the virus that it surfaced from might be. BUT I would think that you would need to share some saliva with your ducks, are you doing this?! If not, I think with normal good handwashing practices they should be just fine
