Too big muscovy drake

Maybe you could get a couple of Jumbo Pekin females for him to breed with to get really big eggs/meat birds?
Thats a very good idea. But the cross between muscovy and pekin will make a infertile breed named mulard

Him being both very aggressive and twice to three times their weight is concerning to me. A drake like that seems like a good candidate for re-homing or dinner, with the idea that you replace him with a smaller, less aggressive breed. However, if he's mated with them before and there wasn't a problem, maybe things will be okay.

Hes a muscovy with muscovy females. He will be fine and so will they. The girls will let him know the right way to act if he wants to rape and plunder. If he acts up, they will get away and he gets none.

I know this from my fancy, he was Huge And aggressive towards my girls his first year, but he learned quickly if he wanted some - catch them bathing.

There are times when a drake muskie just gets too big. I have noticed that large male just absolutely crush a virgin hen, unable to get access to penetrate. One thing about muskies they keep growing thicker and thicker up to 15 lbs until they fill out their frame. I normally go one season unless I haven't reached my (goal) traits or color.. I want chocolate muskies with no white.

Figure that only matters if you want ducklings. If you're fine with food eggs or meat/pet birds it might work pretty well. Are mulard good as pets/food?

this cross will make only males they have a lot of meat and they will be a good pet because they are verry calm
