Too cold to go outside?

I have raised chicks many times before, but it’s been about 9 months since my last time doing so. My oldest chicks are about 3 weeks old & they are getting too big for their brooder. I have a small coop outside that is currently unused (I usually use it for broody mamas, separating bully chickens, etc). It would be the perfect amount of space for my chicks. I put the brooder plate in there & put the chicks in there, but they seemed to have gotten out from under the plate last night, so I moved them back in because the low was 32F. Tonight, the low is 51F. They should be okay to sleep out there as long as they have the heat plate, right? Or should I move them in to be safe?

If the low is 51 they'll be fine with their plate in a dry, draft protected area like a small coop.
