Hi all. I'm worried its too cold for my chicken, its a 4-5 week old Dominique but he's all alone in the coop (the dog got his pals) we have week old chicks to replace em in the garage, but in the meantime its like barely 10 degrees right now, shld I move the loner into the garage or will he be fine? They are my moms chickens, she says bring him in at night only, doesn't want em to 'get soft', any thoughts?

If they shiver or seem to cold bring them in, just use common sense with birds as some will just freeze and die standing on a roost.

Cool, only his head is unfeathered so I'll let em be, thanks for the reply

We got them and they went outside, were 3-4 weeks. But it was a warm spell. Its been proofedand then some. He calls out, but he's been doing that since we showed him the chicks few days ago, I think he's lonely more then cold (his name is Lonny the loner)
