Hello again!

Its cold here in PA and I'm concerned about the weather for my ducks. Its gonna be -1 tonight and they're projecting -6 in the next few days. I have my ducks in a harbor freight greenhouse that is 6x8 I added more fresh shavings for them last night and it's dry but I worry about how cold it's gonna be. Am I overthinking this cold or should I be adding in something to heat the coop?

I'm tempted to take some 5 gallon buckets and fill them with hot water and lid them so they won't spill and the ducks don't try to drink very hot water.

Am I overthinking or should I be doing something for more heat?

Thank you!

Close to 0 for a few nights upcoming meet in NC. We have an older male pekin that we usually keep separate from our 3 ladies because he has a favorite. He tries to mount her constantly. But with this level of cold, I wonder if it would be better to let them together for warmth. Appreciate any thoughts on that!

It's not worth stressing out the duck hen. He will be fine at those temperatures by himself.
