The ones that had that didn't live and quit. I think it was just bacteria that entered the shell and killed the chicks. I think the shells were weak especially when we did egg-topsies.

None of the chicks are sick or breathing weird. They're all healthy and lively.

Mold in eggs is not the same as bacteria in eggs. They present differently. You said mold which raised a red flag I thought I should make you aware of. Now you're saying bacteria. I'm not going to push this further considering you're the one who saw the eggs in person. Your call. I'm relieved to hear the chicks are doing well but file this information away for a later date if anything does start to pop up.

Oh my goodness, the amount of drama in that facebook group. Makes me so glad that I haven't been privy to any of those crazy situations. Who would have thought there would be so many dishonest people when dealing with chickens????

I didn't open all of them. But there was weird growth in the eggs, but didn't look like that mold. I think it was just a collection of bacteria inside. I'm not a mold pro plus I removed them so fast no one even know they were in the incubator. I'm not having bad eggs in my incubator, I don't risk that.

I'm the person that any sign of bad in an egg, I toss it. I don't hesitate. I know some people wait a few days, but I have unlimited eggs.
