Too Early for Feb Hatch-A-Long Thread??

Pics
Officially named one Dustin. The little comet/unknown bantam. Here he is seen resting after a long morning of breaking out and pestering his siblings.

Will move their food closer and show them how to chicken here shortly.

I don't have them in rows or anything but I do try to move them around when I'm turning. For the exact reason you mentioned. I've moved the thermometer around with each turning and it's surprisingly stable.
Do you remember which hatch along it was? I might try to sift through it for information.

Well, I participated in more than one hatch-a-long last year. I'll go rummage around and see if I can find it for you. ;)

I’m planning my very first hatch!!!! I’m ordering a Nurture Right 360 today and some hatching eggs off of eBay. I probably won’t get them until the 10th or 11th of this month. I’m ordering from a couple different sellers which is probably a bad idea but they both agreed to ship on the same date so I’m crossing my fingers. I imagine I’ll set the eggs on the 13th or so. They will be early Feb. babies!

What are you hatching next month?

Yay!! A February hatch!!
I'll set some Amaraucana Xs and some RIR Xs. Haven't decided how many yet.
Fun!!

That's ok. I'll try searching when I've got time to be sucked down the rabbit hole. Those hatch a longs have a mind of their own. It might have even been one that I participated in and don't remember. How embarrassing would that be?!

Your CCL cockerel almost looks like a Frosted Legbar...are you sure that's how her roosters hatch? This is a picture of some chicks I hatched last year, two CCL cockerels and a Frosted pullet.

And from another bloodline, these are 3 CCL pullets on the left with 1 cockerel on the right.

Um, it would be more embarrassing if I was talking to you about this previously and I just completely forgot! :lau It's like the second someone updates their avatar they're a whole new person to me. :gig

Darn it... now I have no clue!

I’m sure I can go look at her current postings and see if there’s one for Legbars. Should have her photos.

What are they again?
How many left?
All the info is so far back in the thread, would take hours to find lol

Today is my brothers birthday. He said I needed to name all the babies that hatched after him. So 6 babies named Dustin :lau

They are silkies from my paint flock, I've got 3 left that are due to hatch in the next few days. They are all a day apart in age so range from day 17-19 right now. All 3 are still alive and well so far, I'm just hoping the day 19 one will decide to hatch on day 20 like this little one did so it has company while I wait for the others. :)

I've got some other silkie eggs from my flock that aren't as far along in another incubator as well. I just ordered some silkie hatching eggs from a breeder too (probably going a little overboard on the incubating/hatching)!

No such thing! I think you should order MORE to ensure a proper number of silkies.
