I have a Hovabator 1602n with a fan kit and auto turner. I run at 99.5 and 25-35% humidity 1-18, and then 60-65 during lockdown. Welcome and good luck!!

I can’t seem to find you? Are you a group, business page or a person page? What does your profile picture look like for The Olive Egg?

I thought is was a business page. I made it on my phone and need to go check it out on a computer. Maybe I didn’t publish it or something. I’m not the bet with Facebook because I didn’t have one for years.

I have a Farm Innovator 4250. It cost about $130 new at TSC. They go on sale for under $100. Mine is a bit fiddly but I've had it since summer of '17 and it's still chugging along with no major issues. I even left it out during a major downpour. The entire thing got completely soaked. I thought it was a goner (electric wise) but I dried it out and it fired right up! It has hot spots. I must be VERY careful with thermometer probe placement. Or it can, and will, overheat and cook the eggs. After dialing that in it works fine.

Last year I bought a still air Farm Innovator. It was one sale and cost $44 brand new including shipping. This hatch is the first one I've done in it from start to finish. Both shipped eggs and local sourced ones. I really like it! Another little workhorse. Because of the experience I've gained with the other incubator it was super easy to dial it in as far as temperature, humidity, and egg placement. Since I already know what works for my area and have extra thermometers I trust to check temps.

I run Hovabator Genesis 1588 and have two of them. One for hatching the other for incubating. I am finding that I need to run them dry to get enough evaporation in the eggs.
