Too hot in the house to keep eggs out on the counter?

Hi everyone,

The weather where I am is starting to get pretty warm and I don’t have AC in my house so it gets 75-80 degrees (maybe even higher later in the summer) in the house sometimes. I’m wondering if the fresh duck eggs I keep out on the counter will still be okay or if they’ll spoil?

thanks in advance!

They won't spoil, but they will degrade much more quickly at those temps. This means the whites my become runny and the yolks may not stand at attention after a few weeks unrefrigerated.

Okay thanks!
