if you want a water duck get some khaki campbells. I have both these and pekins. My pekins like the water but they just swim. My khakies on the other hand splash, dive, and dance. I find watching them to be much more entertaining than watching the pekins. My favorite khaki is names webbie she is so sweet. And i have large pekins too. I don't think that they are supposed to be this big but my females are about 12lbs while my drake is 16. Is this normal. I mean I know that they are a little "fluffy" but they are rather large too

I wonder if a fake hawk would keep turkey vultures away! I get 5 huge ones that sit on the barn roof and stare down into the yard, my dog barks at them and runs them off but they always come back, they've never bothered the ducks but they're pretty menacing looking up there. What's a khaki Campbell? Is it a small duck and would my muscovy fellas hurt them, it sounds like just the kind of water duck I'd like for the pond!

Ya he's pretty big, his name is Red. He's nothing compared to the turkey tom...or even the turkey hens.

I didn't know that there were two kinds. Everybody talks about how big the Rouen ducks are and I was like what about pekins. But I guess the jumbos aren't normal then

i don't know about normal, but Metzers sells jumbo pekins! I have one and she's a beaut!

So what would the largest breed of duck one could get? Would it be the jumbo pekins? DUCKOBSESSED has a couple and they sound like they'd be pretty nice to have, they're lovely
