Hello,
I have posted photos before, but not in a couple weeks. I have 5 laying chicken. This spring two went broody & I got fertilized eggs to put under them. They were great mamas & 6 hatched - 4 lavender orphingtons & 2 marans.
They were born June 20 - 21. So 11 chickens is too many for me. Need to get rid of 4 for sure. I would love to keep the blue maran - hope she's a she. She is lovely.
This post will have photos of a blue copper maran, black copper maran & a lavender orphington. The orphington barely has a tail which I find strange. Any ideas or help identifying hens or roos would be appreciated.
Also, if I am taking photos of the wrong area of the hen, please let me know. They are tough to get photos of, but I'm eager for some advise and will try try try. Thanks.
I'll post again with the other pullets in the next post.
Thank you very much for any advise.
