I have been around chickens most of my life. Joined backyardchickens several years back but had not been active and could not recover my account so had to make a new one. Currently have 10 hens outside in a run. About 90 chicks in a brooder. Breeds of chicks include silky, polish, Millie fleur dullce bantams, naked neck, Easter Eggers Ameraucana bantam. One speckled Sussex hen who was found wandering in the city at approximately two days old and had no idea what she was so I brought her home. Other hens are mostly silky Americana cross , once Americana and one black astrolop who was rescued . Also have horses dogs cats and a special needs child.

Welcome back to BYC! I do hope you're here to stay this time :) You've got a lovely bunch of chickies growing. Wishing you luck on this feathered journey of yours!

I work at a special needs camp over the summer, and they hold a special place in my heart! ❤ So glad they can enjoy such wonderful animals with you!

See you around!
