So this morning my daughter took it upon herself to wander down to the basement and empty most of a large container of dried mealy worms into the brooders. I estimate it to have been 3-4 cups of mealy worms for 20 chicks and 8 ducklings (2-3 weeks old). I know radical changes in diet can cause major problems. The chicks appear to be fine, but the ducklings are all laying about, and haven't eaten or (more importantly) drunk anything in hours. Should I be concerned, or just chock it up to gluttony pains?
