Too many pets suffering due to economy.

Being a real estate appraiser I know more than most people how bad things are now. Good honest people who have always been responsible, in all kinds of neighborhoods are losing their homes. I see it everyday.

We all know the difference between people falling on hard times & those who are just irresponsible. I'm sure the responsible people are not the ones being referred to here.

Where I used to live there was a couple living next door that had a boxer & english bulldog. Both not neutered because they plan on breeding them. They were litterally walking skeletons, always had diarrhea, & running loose in the neighborhood getting into other peoples garbage. Authorities were called but the husband was a police officer & obviously had "friends" that kept him out of trouble. They would cry & tell me how they didn't have enough money to make their mortgage payment or pay for the worm medicine for the dogs. But then a month later they got a nonsense puppy which they plan on breeding as well. (Not to mention the new computer or Big Screen TV then purchased in the mean time) Last time I talked to someone that still lives on the street, the boxer & bulldog are still skinny, the nonsense now lives in the backyard with the other two with muddy dreadlocks & they are now talking about buying a Min Pin to add to their non exsistant breeding program. Still crying about not being able to make their house payment as well.

Those are the type of people I am referring to!
