I have ten hens and three roos, which works out fine. The catch is... my roos are bantams and my hens are almost all standard. The roos have a pecking order and haven't fought since it was established. Also, my littlest roo isn't even a beep on the other roos radar. I think it all depends on your unique situation. You'll figure it out. It is hard to get rid of the little guys though. Good luck!
