So, We went to a local breeder and told her we wanted hens and we were new to the chicken world and needed help. With the 2 polish 4 Cochins we have only 2 Hens. We aren't sure on are 1 other polish yet. Now we are stuck and trying to find homes for 4 of them.

Hi , so you are saying you have only 2 hens and 4 roosters, well you have to be carful cause there should be one rooster for 12 hens or they will hurt the hens or maybe kill them

Welcome to BYC! Perhaps there is a poultry swap in your area? I was able to sell an extra rooster at one near me. Why don't you post pics of the one you aren't sure of, and people can help you figure it out. Good luck!

I’m located in Sarasota Florida and I have been looking for a rooster for my hens for a long time so if anyone is nearby I’m willing to buy a rooster from you

That is why we are trying to rehome the others. Before it gets to that point.
You can buy more hens and put them in different places or you can sell to people that they really want it, people is looking for roosters you can take pics of them and post them if you wantto sell them fast

Make a flyer like we do and hang them at feed stores like TSC. Most stores have community cork boards. They work well. We sell chickens and pigs real well that way. Use the money from your boys to buy feed for the rest of the birds.
