Yea that sounds like a great idea. I think I am going to do something like that now. I have two hens that like to roost on top of the chicken coop so I kind of added a second story and I know it would help them better during the winter time if I added tarps. At least they let me know what they like and don't like. I had their coop on the side of the house and then tore up the porch (because of rotting wood). I moved their coop and run to the one side of the porch on the cement and they are soo much happier. Who knew that cement would be so cool under the overhang?
