Too much rain - coop swollen shut!

I had the same problem over the summer, my coop door became tough to open. The door was recycled and already painted so I put it on my joiner and took off 1/4 inch.

I had the same thing happen. I could tell there was one tiny section of door that was causing all the mischief. I just worked at it with some course sand paper, and so far so good.

Good luck! I've always put in a full one inch margin for error in my doors... Painting will probably stop most of the swelling. But hard thing is... you'll have to find not only a few days without rain, but a few days without rain and lots of time for the wood to dry out all the way. Else, you'll end up rubbing the paint off... I've done that too.
