one of my BRs is spending too much time around nest boxes.
Its around 22 weeks. This morning she started to scream like
someone was killing. I dont see it laying any egg (although I cant confirm).
I do see her going from one nest to other nest and spending
too much time (couple of hours today already).

Is she going broody or is she eggbound or something else is bothering her ?

Is she a laying hen or pullet? Yesterday I had all 3 of my pullet hanging out in coop and nest box waiting for 1 to lay. They don't always go quick. My hen sometime sits for a good hour.

They are all about 22 weeks. They just started laying last week. Still not sure which ones are laying and which ones aren't.

We have a hen who takes forever to lay, her eggs are large and thin shelled. She's a year old and has had this pattern from the start.

Some hens like to hang out in the nest box, our Cochins like to do this. We just lift them up and check for eggs. They do this broody or not. They never sing the egg song.
