too much to handle for outlets?

I have a insulated coop (6x8). We bought 42 chickens and 2 ducks. I want to keep the ducks seperated b/c of the mess they make so I put them into another container but still in the coop. I have a heat lamp over the chicks and one over the ducks. They are both plugged into the same outlet. Is this safe or is this expecting too much from the outlet? The lamps are 120 v and the bulbs are 250 W.

It should be fine. For comparison, a hairdryer or space heater will often be in the 1500 watt range.
