IMO I don't think so. Mealworms aren't like cracked corn where it doesn't really benefit them. They are a good source of protein and the chickens enjoy them I wouldn't of course feed them exclusively mealworms and make sure they are eating their layer feed, or whatever feed you have them on.

ook they are on laying feed i just wanted to make sure that when i gave them a little mealworm treat i wasnt giving them to much
