Too old for a hen to raise?

Hello everyone. I just got 2 serama chicks, both about a month old. I have a full setup to raise them on my own, but one of my hens may be broody. Are they too old for her to adopt even if they’re so small?

Hello everyone. I just got 2 serama chicks, both about a month old. I have a full setup to raise them on my own, but one of my hens may be broody. Are they too old for her to adopt even if they’re so small?

If they're small enough, the hen might adopt the chicks. But month old chicks won't accept a hen.

Also, when can I expect the cockerel to start crowing? He’s already started a sort of silent crow where you can tell he’s trying but nothing comes out.
