Too old to fix curled toes?

I just bought a quail and realized once I was home that her toes are a little curled. She is a Coturnix and just fully feathered. I think she is 3-4 weeks old. Is she too old for a little toe brace boot?

I've tried to fix crooked toes on older peachicks and have failed, but maybe you should try. This is how I do mine:

3-4 weeks old may be too late, but you can try. I suspect that it will be very hard to keep shoes on at this age, which makes is even less likely to be fixed. If the quail is getting around well enough, though, it's probably okay to leave it.
