Too old to have hens?

I have 5 hens and a roo in an 8x8 coop (with a large run) and there is MORE than enough room.
Now... I'm in Virginia, so there is almost no chance of having weather SOO bad that they would be cooped up for anything longer than a night.
But, yes, I think that would be enough room.

I got my first chickens as chicks the year I turned 56. I will be 60 this August. I have fibromyalgia and some days it is tough to do more than just fill feeders, waterers, and gather eggs.

Luckily, with an established flock and well-built coop, that's pretty much all that's necessary for the majority of the time! :D I get lots of "Chicken TV" time to rejuvenate me.

I now have fifty hens/pullets, three roosters, twenty-tjree ducks, two geese and four turkeys.

Plus 24 eggs in an incubator (two breeds I wish to add to my very mixed flock and I'm hoping not too many cockerels hatch!),and a House Silkie who just hatched four chicks from eggs I pilfered from the flock.
