Too sad for words.

Its current news. The testimony I posted was dated Sept 14, 2010 that's NOT 3 years ago. It actually came up on another forum that I use too. It's what people are talking/reading about. Why shouldn't we?

I acknowleged that. First sentence. And as I also said, the article was biased toward the dramatic side.

Don't...for one minute...think that the LEOs involved in that case aren't haunted by it. There are procedures they have to follow and unfortunately, the officers on the street aren't the ones writing the procedure manuals. Some of the higher ups have never been beat cops at all, but rather were hired for their managerial skills.
Our doctor once told me that he has four cops and four cops wives as patients. The cops all have ulcers and have had or are on the verge of having heart attacks. The wives, all four of em, have ulcers; including myself.
Until you've walked a mile in their shoes....

This did happen over three years ago, but the trial has just started for one of the men.
The mother told the bank teller what was going on and that if the police went to the house the two men would kill them all. I don't believe that cops purposely waited. I believe they expected to catch the two men once they left the house. The men told the mother that they would all be safe if she just got the money. They lied and unfortunely her and her two daughters died. The husband who was tied in the basement some how freed himself and was able to get to a neighbors house. I'm not 100% sure as to why they burnt the house, but I say they should both be put to death immediatly no waiting. I was ticked when I heard them saying he was pleading guilty to avoid the death penalty. Now as of this morning the trial is on hold because the judge was hospitalized and last week they ended early due to threats againt the guy.

And had the cops rushed right in and the bad guys had then killed the family, they would be blamed for that as well.....da*mned if they do, da*mned if they don't. Imagine it.......the info the police get isthat if they go into the house the bad guys will kill the family.......but they go in anyways....if the family was killed, everyone would blame them. There is no right answer when psychopaths are involved.

For people to blame anyone other than the killers themselves for these deaths is ridiculous. Hindsight is 20/20.
