Too young for outdoor brooder?

Nice set up. Have you integrated chicks before?
Here's an article I wrote when I integrated at 4 weeks. This year I started at 3.5 weeks.

In the past I have had a smaller coop with run right next to the big run. Guess it could've been called a "grow out coop? Let them interact on their own terms with free ranging and the younger ones wandering around the big girls area. This is my first time with a brooder in my coop. But I used 1/4 inch hardware cloth to keep the babies safe. Hoping by them being in the same general area from a younger age will help once they're bigger.

This is the set up in the coop. Only draft may be during the day when the door to the run is open for the big hens bc it's ground level. It's closed at night though.
This is great! Very nice :) Yes, get them out there in the morning. They have room, protection and a heat plate. I see not reason whatsoever to keep them inside when they have such nice accommodations outside.

not the best pic but babies are out in the "big brooder" now. Not too much wandering in the first 10 mins but I'm sure before long they'll have made a mess lol. Thank you all for the extra reassurance that they'll be ok!
