Too young to be egg bound?

Yes, need to save money. Took her to vet for same problem when she was less than one month old and it was lots of money. I got the Tylan 50. How much do I give her? She is 2 pounds and 9.4 ounces. Thank you.

I would only give a 1/4 ml.

Give the dosage for 5-7 days

Watery eyes and noses are the things that seem to dry up first, and then sneezing lessens.

Usually, they act much perkier by day 3.

How long I've dosed them kinda depends on the symptoms.

If there is sneezing, I usually go 2-3 days after the last 'sick sneeze' is noticed.

Thank you, Braxton Brigade. So I should go ahead and give it to her in her mouth like I did with the vet antibiotics? The syringe I got that you suggested is way bigger than what I have from the vet. So I am totally confused as to how much 1/4 of a ml is. More help please. Today she isn't wanting to drink which is unusual for her. Thank you for all your help. Her eyes and nose have been clear, just a little sneezing a few times a day.

I am trying to figure out which line on the 3 ML syringe I have to pull up to for 1/4 ml for my 2 pound 9.4 ounce bird. She is 4 months Is it the third line closest to the needle? I am using Tylan 50 /100 ML injectable. I am going to give orally in a piece of s small piece of bread.

The the wider black lines represent each .5 cc increment so each wider black line (except the very first one, it represents "0") accounts for a half of 1 cc. So a 1/4 cc or .2cc would be half of the .5cc space.

Thank you so much. I ended up putting it in some hard boiled yoke as she wouldn't touch the bread. She had no problem eating that as it is her favorite. Praying she feels better tomorrow which will be the third day. She isn't sleeping much because of gasping for air about every minute or so. But she has a healthy appetite and her crop is emptying and poops all the time. Thanks again. I appreciate you.

I ended up reading another thread last night that talked about giving aspirin for inflammation. I gave her 1/2 of a 81 mg coated orange chewable aspirin last night and again this morning. She is much improved. Last night I mixed with her yoke with the antibiotics. This am she took the aspirin by itself after I had crushed it. After second dose seeing no more gasping for air praise God.
