My chicks are 3.5 weeks old, we are wanting to move them outside into their coop (with their 250 heat lamp of course), they are getting crowded in their giant breed dog crate and wanted ya'lls opinions. Thoughts anyone?

Coop is Ok as long as not drafty. I would not let them outside unless the air is calm and it is 80 degrees. Just my personal thoughts on the matter. Others may have more experience and better answers.

Good luck with the little peepers. They grow so fast, they are just miniature chickens before you know it.

I think if the coop is draft free and predator proof and heated with the heat lamp, then they would be ok.
What's the weather like in Southern TN?

Today has been the coldest day in a while... highs are in the 50's lows 40's but before today it could be as hot as 90 and lows as high as 60....gotta love TN weather...
