Hi! I have a Leghorn hen that at 15 weeks laid an egg a day for 8 days then became ill (ADR). Being young and still on grower feed I thought maybe egg bound but did could not feel an egg. I fed her calcium mixed with egg yoke and a little crumbles. That got her back on her feet, literally, and she progressed daily but still not 100% and has not laid again. It’s been several days now and it’s been hovering at 100 degrees for a couple of months. Her comb and waddles are still a bit pale.
One other Leghorn and two each Rhode Island Reds and Bard Rock have not laid yet they are all 17 weeks old now.
She was the top of the pecking order but seems to have been demoted since the illness..
Thoughts? Thank you!

Often times chickens start to lay, and then do take a break. Your chicken got a burst of egg laying urges, and ran out bullets,, (figuratively speaking) :gig .. Your other chickens did not start up yet. I think the high temps are a major factor in the egg laying situation you are currently experiencing. Most of my chickens go on strike when temps are very high. :old
WISHING YOU BEST,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,and :welcome
