We are new backyard chicken owners and loving it so far. We built our tractor from an old dresser and now have 2 Rhode Island Reds and 1 Leghorn.. This site is a wonderful learning tool! Pics are from my phone, so they are not the best.

Wow that is a stunning coop!

It may need a bit more ventilation...not sure if you want to add some more windows. Always cover your openings in the coop with 1/2 inch hardware cloth- it is the only predator proof fencing (rats, weasels, coons, etc.).

Oh- I see your coop window now- great!

Thank you!! We wanted something that would look good in the backyard and still be functional. We have the main door, the roof is not sealed on the edges (the tin ripples) and I have 2 air vents on adjacent sides. Still not entirely sure if that's enough, as we get warmer, I plan on monitoring it and adding more "flowers" as needed. What do you think?
