So the chain of command and control of the house clearing, clearly is still in Eric's heiarchy and with 5 lil ones, maybe a secure future.

'Eric's hierarchy' may rule till I go to the great roost in the sky, but what we maybe didn't understand until recently is how the male-to-female ratio is relevant. Tooshtoosh is the last male -- now that Eric is gone -- that we have under observation. The others -- Felicity and LimpyChick and Uno -- are female. Their consorts' clutches may never be brought here by those consorts.

But Tooshtoosh has brought his.

(But we don't know if LimpyChick attacked them -- that's what we're watching for. We've only seen Tooshtoosh and his chicks once.)

So now we wait. If Tooshtoosh chooses to bring his clutches here over the years to come, then Planet Rothschildi is reborn.

Tooshtoosh and the chicks turned up again yesterday. It's clear that Tooshtoosh and LimpyChick have clashed, and it's a stalemate. Which is fine: the chicks get food.

The top shot should be a video. We'll work on that. The bottom shot is a female all puffed up in indignation -- but she can only bully T. and the chicks around a bit. As I said, it's a stalemate.
