Update: Tooshtoosh has the upper hand; LimpyChick is well and truly on the run. The chicks already come to within about 8-10 feet of me. They are growing fast.

OMG OMG!! First ever observation of a whole clutch of chicks doing a 'dawn dance,' complete with 'breast to ground jump up,' and completely rolling over, and running around crazy crazy.

This is the chicks' dad, Tooshtoosh, and his sister LimpyChick, having a little dance. My Net is really bad: I have a magnificent clip of two adults dancing. But it's about 15 seconds long, and I can't upload it.

Clutches of chicks dance all together. It's sort of contagious: one starts; they all start.

And there are a couple of 'synchronised' moves. And I hope to get a video of that. One move is they face each other to do 'breast to ground; jump up.'
