She's from Indiana... (I'm her mom, she went out to play with the chickens)

I'm so glad she's involved with the chickens.

We got our Polish from Meyer's and their crests are HUGE, at just 5 weeks old.

I'm not, however, totally satisfied with the quality. One of ours has a few feathers on her legs and a few are already starting to developed deformed beaks. Just as well, the hachery messed up our order.

(We ordered an EE over the phone but it wasn't included in our order OR our bill. Nothing could really be done.)

I suppose that's what you get when you take chances with a hatchery, but I can't be very upset with them. They sex their standard Polish chickens and do small order hatches.

Ideal doesn't sex their Polish, MPC is too expensive (when ordering sexed banties), McMurray's prices are somewhat unbelievable if memory serves, and Cackle also doesn't sex them.

MPC doesn't consider them banties. Sexing for their Polish chicks was exactly the same as regular breed. (A whole whopping .50 extra, if I remember correctly)

Coffeelady3 and I went in on a www.mypetchicken.com order together. It included some a-dor-able polish chicks. My 2 blue polish wound up being a black and a splash. The 'fro on the black is coming in like a bad 1980's haircut but it's adorable. Then splash is super cute and her 'fro is coming in like a mohawk.

Love them!!

Ideal Poultry, they are cheaper have good healthy birds and believe it or not ive never heard a bad thing about them. They really care about you getting the right order and healthy chicks
