Top Hat Chickens

I just hatched out some frizzle polish.....well my silkies did. I'm a big fan of starting from scratch, I like to order eggs (e-bay or eggbid) & go from there. The only problem is you don't have any say on what sex or how many you will end up with in the end. I've thought about ordering from MPC since you can get small quantities at a time. I'm starting to want a few different breeds in my flock, but it's a girls only club

I got mine from our local feed store, who orders from Estes Hatchery. I'm really happy with the color (Silver Laced) and she's wonderful! I'm not sure if you will be able to order a small number, but I love the personality.

We got 3 from MPC because they were sexed. I love them. Their names are Cool, Poof Jr, and Peggy. They not only look crazy but they act it! When I open the brooder all 3 immediately head out to explore the porch. They jump & flap around and have a great time. They have a lot of personality. When I go to buy more chickens someday I will most likely buy more of these guys. The silkies may be cute and fuzzy but watching the polish is more entertaining

MPC has Polish in both the standard and banty variety...
