Top hen mounting other hens like she's a rooster... Is this normal?

Mike has stopped mounting and gone back to brooding lol she is still head of the flock though, she definately got that leader instinct, hey btw I have a young rooster in the flock it's about to reach crowing age.. If the hen maintains head of the flock dunce she has since he was just a chick does that mean he might not crow if she dominates him as head of the flock?

I HAVE A 22 week old ameraucana who has tried to mount her sister.....i have seen it twice....not sure if she is laying or not....should i worry? she is one of 17 chickens and only bothers that one that she grew up with,,all other chickens are a year old

Weirder yet, my nearly year old RIR pullet mounts the other girls RIGHT IN FRONT OF THE ROOSTER! He always breaks it up as soon as he sees her doing it, but she “mates” with the other girls just like he does. The REALLY strange part is, she's growing spurs! I’ll get better pics tomorrow, but check this out...

I have read that a pullet can change gender, when something happens in the reproductive system.....and you will notice she wont be laying eggs.......but others say that pullets do that to show dominance , mine doesnt have spurs....and i dont have any roosters...so i dont know where she has seen this....

I have seen female dogs mount other female dogs.
Hens mount hens.
And the weirdest of all... a heifer mount a bull. True story.

I'm having a problem with two or three hens, 1 NHR, 1sexlink,and one RIR mounting and abusing the rest of my RIR..I have 3 NHR, 3SL. 7RIR..3 of the RIR have lost all their feathers on their shoulders and very close to drawing blood..i have been free ranging, feeding lots of greens, flock block seed, etc Now i need to know if anyone has had success with anything to apply to the injured birds to repel the other birds..I do not think I would be successful bringing in a rooster, these guys are all 2 years old...would bag balm work?

I have been using Blue Kote, like some one mentioned, it doesn't last very long, and the problem has not been solved..if your head hen is not abusing her nest mates to the point of abuse, I wouldn't worry too much..I Had one hen who tried to crow,(which was really funny) and for a very short time, mounted other hens..she ended up being my oldest a dearest hen..a coyote got her..if the hen is abusing others, get rid of her.Unfortunately I have several that are abusing the others, and I can't isolate them
