Topic of the Week - Chickens and Fall Leaves

just

a question, will chickens or geese eat the leaves? and are oak leaves safe to use?
Chickens do eat some eatable leaves, like young grapevine leaves. They don’t eat young oak sprouts 🌱 to my knowledge bc if we dont mow the grass for a couple of weeks, there are always tiny oaks in our lawn.
They wont eat autumn leaves if they have acces to other food. Im not familiar with geese.
