Topic of the Week - Raising and Caring for Ducklings

Hello...:frow
Here is a great tip for Duckling owners who receive tiny Ducklings that can't eat the crumble even if wet..
I use a coffee grinder to make a powder and then add water to a soupy mix..They then can get hydrated and nourishment at the same time..I provide water and dry feed also..It really works fantastic...:wee

This is a Call that did great with the powdered soupy feed

I have a question about new ducklings - think day or two old. When bringing them home should you leave them be in their brooder for awhile to get used to their surroundings or hang out with them so they get to know you right away?
I always leave them in the Brooder and put my hand in and peep and Quack to them. They love it. Then the next day I play with them for short periods..
